You may recall that back in the spring, a crew of Copley community and Chamber volunteers rolled up their sleeves at Haven of Rest Ministries, lending their hands to freshen up the landscaping for the season.
That, my friends, is exactly why we created Copley Hands in Action—to give our nonprofit members the gift of people power. We knew that sometimes we’d be flexing our muscles and getting dirt under our nails.
Turns out, sometimes we need to flex our creative muscles instead!
Our next Copley Hands in Action volunteer day is coming up on Friday, September 19th. This time we’ll be lending our ideas, voices, and connections to help Spring Garden Waldorf School shine.
Think of it as “brainstorming meets barn-raising”. And yes, all are welcome—Chamber membership not required!
All we need is a group willing to set aside two hours for a tour, a focus group, and a little social media sharing. And if you’re one of those people, we need you to let us know by Friday, September 12th.
If you think you might be one of those people, click here for more info and consider lending your head to help. After all, this kind of people power empowers little people—kids growing into clear, creative, compassionate thinkers who can carry our community forward.
Just one more way the Chamber is putting hands (and heads) to work in building a stronger Copley!
FINAL Forks Up for the Chamber!
This weekend is the FINAL SUNDAY to enjoy a delicious meal at Kingfish and help us raise funds for the Copley Chamber! Half of the prix fixe menu price will go directly to support our community efforts.
To everyone who’s already dined, delighted, and made a difference—thank you. Your support through the special menu has helped fuel our mission and strengthen our community. We appreciate you!
