So, here’s a little something I’ve been looking forward to…
A week from Saturday, on March 14, I’ll be spending my morning in a room full of people talking about the eight dimensions of wellness — emotional, physical, occupational, interpersonal, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, and financial.
I’ll be representing the occupational part of those dimensions at Carve Your Own Path’s Pathways to Wholeness: A 2‑Hour Wellness Reset for Women — a free event offering women “a morning of movement, education, and community connection.”
See, this isn’t just a sit-and-listen event. It’s interactive. It’s community-centered. It’s designed to help women reset in ways that feel practical and doable, not overwhelming.
There will be an Expressive Art Therapy Station, mini workshops like Gentle Flow Chair Yoga, Resilience Skills, and Calm & Centered Breathwork, plus a floor full of local businesses and organizations (such as yours truly with the Copley Chamber) offering supportive resources.
And, yes, childcare is available!
One important note: organizers need advance registrations so they can plan appropriately, especially for that childcare. If you’re considering attending, please register ahead of time so they can prepare well.
As for what I’ll be bringing to the display table…
I’ll be taking a “Women in Business: Wellness Snapshot.”
It’s a simple, interactive reflection wall where attendees can anonymously share thoughts regarding their occupational wellness. Thoughts like:
- “What I need more of”
- “What I wish people understood”
- “What would help right now”
Those responses will create a collective snapshot of what women in our business community are really experiencing.
From there, we can talk — about support, about resources, and about how the Chamber (and our broader community) can respond in meaningful ways, both now and in the future.
And that’s exactly why I’ve been looking forward to this event. Because wellness isn’t separate from our work, and the Chamber is here for support.
