If you’ve ever opened your mailbox and found a glossy, full‑color magazine brimming with local businesses, events, and ideas for living well in Northeast Ohio… chances are, you’ve “met” Mimi.
Nope, not a person, but a publication with a personality all its own.
Mimi Magazine first landed in mailboxes in June 2002, starting small in North Royalton and Strongsville. Today, it’s grown into 20 different zones and reaches more than 270,000 homeowners across Cleveland’s most vibrant suburbs — including right here in Copley!
And at the Copley Chamber, Mimi’s personality is personified by Michelle Carbone, Senior Marketing Strategist.
Michelle is often out in the area, promoting events, volunteering, and lending sponsorship support to keep the local scene thriving. “I love that Copley is a growing and vibrant community,” Michelle says. “My favorite part is enjoying the local businesses that are located here.”
And one of her favorite moments is one I can certainly relate to — it’s hearing from a client that their customers found them because of Mimi. “People still like to read on paper!” she says. And clearly, they do.
(Sure, we live in the digital world, and you can even read Mimi online! But gimme a glossy magazine and a quiet Saturday morning, and I’m happy. Lucky for Copley, we can have both: Mimi in the mailbox and The Loop in the inbox!)
For Michelle, Mimi can be summed up in three little words: Local. Unique. Trusted.
To that, we here in The Loop add one more: Ally.
💡 Loop Insider Tip for Business Owners: This fall, Michelle is offering a special promotion for businesses that want to reach all 20 Mimi zones in November and December, with expanded digital marketing options to complement your print presence.
Being in The Loop has its perks! This Loop Exclusive Feature was brought to you by Mimi Magazine, a proud Copley Chamber member and supporter of the community we serve.
