So, here’s a little update I’d like to share with all of our Loop News friends: the Copley Chamber is now accepting applications for the Fall 2025 edition of Copley Hands in Action, our new community service initiative designed to shine a spotlight on—and lend a helping hand to—our nonprofit members.
This is round two for the year, and we’re excited to see what meaningful work our community can come together to support!
The idea is that eligible nonprofit members can apply with a project that could benefit from a group of Chamber and community volunteers. A committee then selects the project to support based on a set of criteria, and then the chamber gets busy putting out the call for volunteers.
But here’s the thing (and the reason I’m telling you all) …
New this round:Community members are also welcome to apply!
That means, if you’re passionate about a cause and have an idea for a project that would directly support one of our nonprofit Chamber members, we want to hear about it.
Maybe it’s organizing a drive, planning an event, or coordinating a hands-on effort (like the weeding project we did at Haven of Rest earlier this month)—if it aligns with our criteria and supports one of our nonprofit members, it just might be the project of choice!
After all, sometimes great things happen simply because someone’s willing to raise their hand.
