I may have said this before, but I’m not a real “New Year’s Resolution” kind of gal. You’re not going to hear me say something like, “Starting January 1st, I’m going to stop eating chocolate except on special occasions.”
Mainly because that’s just crazy talk. (I read once that you could live up to five years by eating chocolate alone and I’m not gonna lie, I have been tempted to try during times of stress, but I do actually love a good salad now and then.)
That said, there really is no better time than January to take stock of where you are, where you want to go, and what you want to do along the way.
So I fully endorse goals and plans! And resolutions, too, actually. I just prefer they start on one of the other 364 days in the year. 😁
That’s why I’m here to say that if you’ve made a resolution, stick to it, my friends. Don’t let your resolution resolve dissolve! If you’ve slipped, re-resolve! I believe in you!
As you’re taking stock, though, just remember to consider who you want to support in the process. Whether it’s local businesses or events, we’ve got plenty of ideas to help you reach your goals.
And you’ll make a difference in your community while you’re at it!
