Holy camoly, people… Heritage Day is just a little over two weeks away!
I know this because my To Do list has grown exponentially longer as of late.
But mine isn’t the only one. The Copley Heritage Day committee is a small but mighty team of people, each pitching in and doing their part to bring the community together through an amazing and eclectic assortment of activities and events.
Just a little heads-up: this year, some of the events you’ve come to know and love have a bit of a “same, but different” kind of feel, but we promise it’s all for good reason!
For instance, the art show has been reimagined as a pop-up experience with the special addition of a performance of Animal Farm to round out the evening—a new twist to bring a breath of fresh creative energy!
Then, there’s the 5k that’s no longer a 5k—it’s been moved to the Main Festivities and transformed into a Color Walk/Run! I can tell you right now that seeing people walking through the vendors covered in color is going to put many smiles on many faces, including my own.
