I’m looking at all the Happenings and such below, and I’m noticing a trend for next week…
There’s a whole lot of opportunity to get engaged in your community!
In addition to the usual fun and frolic of early summer (including the aforementioned abundance of live music), we have the serious business of community meetings and their ever-present need of more – more people, more feedback, and just generally more awareness of what they’re up to.
Here’s the main moments that are making up the trend:
- Tuesday the 4th: Copley Community Volunteers Meeting, the first point of order being the Copley Car Show coming up on July 14th.
- Wednesday the 5th: Copley Heritage Day Committee Meeting – that first weekend of August will be here before you know it!
- Thursday the 6th: Land Use Plan Community Workshops, when residents and stakeholders are invited to help guide the Community Goals and Objectives for the 2025-2030 Land Use Plan.
Plus, anyone who works for a business or owns their own, be that business home-based or “big box”, can RSVP to attend the Copley Chamber’s monthly Meet & Greet on the 6th to get to know the people and ask the questions.
(I’ll be there. I’m one of those people and I like to answer questions!)
